If you follow UpFront with NGS you should have already seen their announcement about the JSTOR JPASS. JSTOR has been posting teasers on Facebook but has now finally made individual access available via the JPASS.
The subscription options are available on JSTOR's website. Use the link at the start of this post to read the UpFront with NGS article. I used JSTOR in college and at the DAR with some great results. JSTOR will provide you with limited access to genealogical specific articles but it is a great way to expand your research to articles with a historical focus. This is similar to reading the local newspaper to gain insight into your ancestor's world. Don't forget to check out the citations, too. If you aren't already using it, PERSI, the PERiodical Source Index, is your gateway to genealogical specific articles.
