1940 Census Help for NYC

If you are at all involved in genealogy you've realized the 1940 Census has been released today. Dick Eastman has provided an article in his newsletter about an additional tool for New York City Residents.
The New York Public Library has put 1940 NYC phone directories online to help find addresses for the currently unindexed 1940 census. You can read the article in Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter, here. It also includes brief information on how to use any U.S. address to locate the correct enumeration district so you can use the unindexed census images.
